This is a Top Class Professional Bicycle Shop who fitted a Pendix Electric Kit to my bike in July of 2017 and I am writing this review In November 2017.
All my interactions with this company were carried out in a prompt efficient and professional manner and I recommend them to any potential customer. The Pendix Electric Kit has performed flawlessly for over 4 months now and I cycle 5 days a week covering about 200 kilometres over mixed terrain. I am surprised that there are not some very positive reviews online already. I did see one or two reviews that were not so positive which surprises me. My experience has been really good and I already had a dedicated Kalkhoff Ebike for 4 years before I decided to buy this kit. In my opinion this Pendix Kit can supply almost as much assistance as the Kalkhoff and some of that may be due to the fact that the converted bike (a Trek Dual Sport) is much lighter. I bought the standard battery with the kit which I find can provide standard assistance for a distance of about 80 Kilometres over mixed terrain on a full charge. There is a further setting to supply more assistance and this really makes me feel like I am flying but I don't use it very much as I assume I could only get half the range from the battery. I did discover early in my testing that there seems to be "sweet" spot for attaining maximum power at between 60 and 70 pedal revolutions and if power drops off a bit it is restored immediately to full power by changing gears to stay within this range. I presume that this is down to the software settings that sense the power input from my cycling.
